Kilim Karst Geoforest Park (Kuah) 2021 All You Need to Know Before You Go (with Photos) Kuah
Although Kilim Geoforest Park officially closes at 5 pm, you can stay inside the grounds for longer than that. We got here at 4:45 pm and could freely walk around the Mangrove Sanctuary and the park until we left at 6 pm. The only thing that was closed when we left was the mangrove tour ticketing huts, the food stalls and the women's washroom.

The King Mountain Trail is one of the shorter trails in Gatineau Park, at just 1.9 kilometres. Despite this, I really loved it. There were some great views to be had. Plus, the trail was steep enough at different points that it felt a bit challenging (which I love!). King Mountain is a short loop that alternates between rocky, rugged terrain.

These majestic brown and white eagles are the official symbol of Langkawi. They even built a giant statue of an eagle in Kuah, Langkawi's main town. There is a spot in the mangroves where the boat drivers.

Mangrove Kilim Geopark MANGROVE KILIM GEOFOREST PARK
The Kilim Geoforest Park is made of three river estuaries that are interconnected and surrounded by beautiful green mangroves, caves of varying sizes and interest and ancient karst rock formations some of which have small beaches. The park borders the Andaman Sea, a stretch of sea that is shared with Thailand's famous Phuket and Phi Phi.

Nothing too difficult, but it added 4 kilometres to our hike, which was perfect for this beautiful summer day! A beautiful day in Gatineau Park. King Mountain : Altitude : 344m. Ascent : 100m. Trail (loop) : 1.9km. Access : King Mountain Trail parking lot (or P7 parking lot for a longer hike)
